Le projet de Marion Fourquier entourée des voix de Cristina Presutti et Lucien Kandel et des membres de l'ensemble : Martin Bauer viole, Lucas Guimaraes-Peres lirone, Charles-Edouard Fantin guitare baroque, est de nous faire sentir la force du verbe italien découvert à la Renaissance Italienne avec Petrarque (1304 - 1374), puis son influence au XVI tant sur les poètes tels que le Tasse (1544-1595), Guarini (1538-1612), Marino (1569-1625)… que son ultime force d'attraction à travers sa traduction en musique ici avec Sigismondo d'India au début du XVII… D'India se targue d'y ajouter un continuo raffiné, usant d'intervalles extraordinaires pour donner plus de force et d'expression au chant.
